Look out the window, what do you see?
Forbidden memories of the one who has
done nothing more than to deceive.
Integrity must not of been his thing,
that would make him be what he always
wanted me to see.
Look at your shadow, what do you see?
Only one because you are alone as you
have always been.
The truth would of set me free, if he
had not felt like I was nothing more
than unfeeling.
I am not the innocent believing girl
you found here waiting for someone to
really care, she left when your lies
told her you really were never here.
Look at me what do you see? A girl who
no longer believes in the lies you have
always told me, no longer am I that easy
to deceive!
Real life can sometimes bring out the best or worse in people. Writing/reading can help you understand the difference.
