Juke box

We all have been down that
same lonely road,love gone
bad and hearts that have
grown cold.

Like a country song playing
on the juke box in the back
of a dark bar,finding peace
in the drink that you sip
through a straw.

You know this song,you have
heard it many times before,
grab another drink as your
tears once again starts to
pour.

A shadow finds its way to
your lonesome place that
you have hidden yourself
in,tonight you look for
sin.

A dance among strangers,a
giggle in their ear,another
drink to chase away the rest
of your lingering fears.

A pocket full of change, in
the juke box it is to go to
waste. Another dance before
you leave the bar, you can
only wish for no tomorrow.

In a strangers arms tonight
you may lay, tomorrow you
will once again remember all
of your heartaches.In borrowed
time you have once again made
another mistake!

Gripping arms to hold you for
now tightly,chasing away the
guilt you know you will later
feel.That country song you are
still to hear, you reach for yet
another beer.Crying your tears!
