Ticking clock

To my mother and father,I know
sometimes I get busy in life and
you think you are just a bother
between house and kids,work and
words that need to be written I
may sometimes forget the clock
is ticking.

My life has me on a whirlwind
spinning and my mind can sometimes
forget the pair who gave me
this life to live.I love you so
and just wanted you to know that
my heart is never to far away
from you both.

If you give just one more minute,
just another second,I will pick
up the phone that I have lately
forgotten!Until I do just remember
this,I am still your little girl
and that I could never forget!
