Eighty years has come too pass,
so many memories too be cherished
some I am sure you wish could be
revised.
So many days of hard work and
many burdens you were to always
carry alone! We were to young to
really understand what strength
it must of took you to do what
you could for us children.
Now we have grown and understand
the meaning of what you had provided
us so lovingly no matter the cost
to you.We were warm,fed,clean,we
had a safe place to lay our heads
while you were still up getting
together our school things.
A rowdy bunch we all could be,
chasing us down with anything
you could get into your hands.
For such a small woman you could
scare away anyone,no man to ever
lay a hand on us!Not even for fun,
even then you would put up a fuss.
We grew up and seen the light! All
the things we took for granted and
threw fits about we now seen with
open eyes.We look back now and in
your face,we are proud of the way
we were raised,by the woman who
could never be replaced!
We have had many heartaches over
the passing years,lord knows we
have shed more than our fair share
of tears but one thing we can all
say is your are the best mother that
we could of ever dreamed for.
And be assured that the ones who
are not here right now are looking
down from the heavens above smiling
down their pride and happiness for
your special day,EIGHTY...
Real life can sometimes bring out the best or worse in people. Writing/reading can help you understand the difference.
