Tell me I am everything as you once again walk out the door leaving
me to cry and feeling once again I had been deceived.
Make my eyes swollen with the tears that I cry, tell me everything
you ever said to me was nothing short but regretful lies. Tell me
all that needs to be said trying to turn me against you with dread.
Push me down to the ground, hurt me as much as you can. Tell me you
are not all that I ever wanted in love and from a man. Trick me with
your hateful words make me feel that love can only hurt. Tell me to
find another tell me that our dreams cannot be seen any longer. Make
me believe this is what you need me to do, no longer wanting to give
me hurt that can only come from you.
Tell me anything you want me to believe, tell me I had only been deceived.
Tell me your heart and body does not cry out for mine, but always know
I can tell when you are lying.
