If you ask me what can make me happy
you will see I am easily pleased.
A wild flower to go in my vase, for roses
to me are nothing more than a waste.
A gentle touch to my face, a lingering
kiss to take its place.
A picnic basket in a field, watching as
wild life jumps and squeals.
A note in the morning just to say hello,
have a great day and I love you so.
A arm to hold me as I sleep at night,
chasing away all the nightmares I seem
to find.
A dream to be shared as the music softly
plays, hearts that talk no words need to
be said.
A joke to be said, a laugh to be heard,
all I really need is for you to be there.
Real life can sometimes bring out the best or worse in people. Writing/reading can help you understand the difference.
